HKXRA at VMAX: Connecting Across Borders
In May 2026, the Hong Kong Extended Reality Association was invited as one of the kick-off guests at World VR/AR/XR/MR Industry & Smart Glasses Exhibition in Guangzhou — one of Asia's most influential gatherings for the VR, AR, XR and MR industry.
The event brought together delegates from across the region and beyond, giving HKXRA the opportunity to exchange views with industry counterparts from Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, the Czech Republic and Russia. These conversations underscored the shared momentum behind immersive technology and the growing appetite for cross-border collaboration.
The Expo also showcased a rich variety of Location-based Entertainment (LBE) solutions, reflecting how quickly the XR landscape is maturing across the region. HKXRA will continue to build on these international relationships, positioning Hong Kong as a connector that links Asia's immersive ecosystem with global partners.
